Lyme Literate doctor in Cleveland/Akron area recommendations, please

Hi,

There is a chance my daughter might have a lyme rash and I'm currently looking for a doctor to take her to to evaluate her rash as it's still early to test her and assume her body has made the antibodies necessary.

A very kind member here gave me the name of a doctor in Seven Hills, but I'm interested in learning of more doctors so I can choose whichever we deem most competent in helping our daughter, whose only symptom are a few rashes for two weeks now.

The LLMD I see is in N. western PA.  just off of interstate 80, in a small town called Hermitage.  Not sure how far that is for you.  I would recommend mine (the office staff is a little squirrelly but the Dr. and Nurses are very good).  There are actually two LLMD's there, I see Dr. J.   You are at a great advantage, by catching it early, if she does have lyme.  It's important to realize though, that the "standard" treatment guidelines, that nearly all other Dr.s would follow, for early lyme aren't always enough to eradicate it.  I learned this the hard way, as I was treated for early lyme and two years later I am back for a second fight.  It's worth the drive to a LLMD.  If she has it, treatment should be pretty simple for her now.  Good luck.

I'm in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I had to travel out to hermitage PA to find the nearest Dr that would take lyme seriously. I currently treat myself but I used to go out there about 3 years ago when i didn't understand how to treat it.

You are better off being safe than sorry because there are thousands of individuals on this board that wish they could have licked it in the first week and never have to visit this board. Act fast because the longer you never know.

If you want to find a good herbal mix locally that I find cheap and just as effective as antibiotics, I recommend a product called "Parazide". You can find it sold at a store called "New Earth Naturals" on state road in cuyahoga falls. The product contains:
Oregano extract
Wormwood (artemesia)
Garlic extract
Grapefruit seed extract
Clove extract
Black walnut
Peppermint

Some of the expert members on this forum can vouche for the effectiveness of some of the herbs in this product. I find it to be a useful mix for lyme, bartonella and babesia.
