Shan rock,
Sorry to hear you are suffering this way. It is hard to get anything done with the light sensitivity -- makes you feel like a vampire, somehow. And the sound sensitivity is torture.
I'm not proud to confess that I actually put sticky labels on all the things on the house that my husband wasn't supposed to operate until after 8am in the morning. Just to get some measure of peace and a little sleep. Also, when I was at the height of my sound sensitivity is when he opted to start the construction project we'd been putting off for some years. Lord love him! It was so painful! Looking back on it now, it seems comical. You're not there yet, but it's safe to say you'll look back on some of this and chuckle!
What you will find, as your treatment progresses, is that some symptoms will temporarily worsen and some that you never had before will crop up and then subside. This is can be caused by toxins being released by the die off of bacteria, or by the bacteria burrowing further to get away from the abx (lovely thought), or by your body mistakenly attacking itself instead of the bacteria.
Dreadful as it is, it is a good sign. Think of the mess you make as you thoroughly clean out a room. Everything is disrupted and temporarily out of place, but when you are finished everything is clean and in order. Leaving things in place while you clean just wouldn't get the job done properly. So some disruption is necessary and actually desirable.
Well I hope you feel better soon and that you have very quiet housemates!!!
