Feeling Blue in Marriage

I have had lyme disease for almost 4 years and I have been treated almost 1 1/2 but things are moving slow and my husband is not understanding. I really feel down and unable to even think about sex. It has nothing to do with him I just don't feel like being touched. How do I explain to him what is happening in my body when I don't even understand it myself. It is so frustrating I love him but I need to be understood even when I don't understand. Please tell me it isn't just me that there are others who struggle in marriage when we are sick and they aren't.

I'm on the other side of this one.. I use to be insatiable and then for some reason my desire was almost gone(reason was lyme).. My wife didnt understand, blamed herself.. But I need to say I still made efforts.. Being in a marriage is a commitment many of the things I do I dont always feel like doing...

It is a fact that Lyme can affect sexual desire. For some it's just gone - that was me for a bit - fortunate for hubby it didn't last too long, less than a year! While others may just have less desire.

One thing's for sure - it's something that affect both partners! I think about all one can do is to educate the partner that still has the desire. They need to know that it's not something that we want to happen, that we have no control over this.
