Ive seen roundworms,small black worm,other worms,liver fluke skins,and possible flukes themselves. Last night I saw 4-5 inches of long white stringy goo...

im stoked.. :)

omg..*shiver*......i made myself read this post because i have a severe phobia of "worm-like" anything.....and i always laugh at the irony of what im infested with but yet seeing one makes me perfusely sweat and feel faint.....i actually had to see a therapist because i had pin worms once.....this humaworm stuff....where do u get it?.....and i will need someone to be near me screaming "clear" with the life saving paddles if i see any stuff like that.....sweet Lord im sweating right now

Not everyone with Lyme or other TBI has parasites. The symptoms of a parasite infection are very similar to Lyme and other TBI symptoms, of course, but please be sure that you actually have parasites before using any product for parasites. You could cause damage or complications if you don't have the parasites.

Good! If you do have parasites, getting them cleared will go a long way in helping you to heal! If you don't have parasites, then you can concentrate on other things to help you heal.

Be sure to let us know what you find out!!

Well,actually they are herbs,so no damage or complications. its a safe product hand made by a family business. EVERYONE has some kind of parasite..

It is never safe to treat for somethings that you don't know you have. Of course we here can't stop you from doing these things, but it should not be encouraged. We have some very ill people here and to start doing any treatments on their own could be very dangerous. I have seen the list of herbs that they use and they are very powerful!!

Well the fact of the matter is,most people with Lymes are infected with bacteria or parasites,so. Yes they are powerful herbs but arent toxic.

I will agree that most people are infected with parasites - but not all and we must be careful to make that distinction.

I never said that those herbs were toxic - just powerful. Neither of us knows what all others may be already taking, so to just out right encourage everyone to start taking these powerful herbs is just not wise. What if someone had a real bad reaction to mixing their meds with those herbs?

BTW - I'm not against the use of this product.

Thank you for understanding, Kds!!! Since all I take for treatments are herbs, I know how powerful some of them are. I had major problems when I tried to use milk thistle!! My doc had to come up with a combo of other herbs that had the same actions, but worked a little differently!

Ticks carry parasites.
Not all stool tests are accurate.
Metametrix 2100 series is about $395
But there are some naturopath lyme doctors that
Insist on it.
Some think parasites have to go first.

I think you may have to retreat or retest in a year or so.

Im thinking of retesting from 2 yrs ago.

Are parasite treatments broad spectrum? My husband and I both had a parasite identified by the Metametrix stool test that Bucci mentioned. However, the taxonomy was unknown meaning they know something's there but not exactly what.

I'm treating for lyme and who knows what else with plaqunenil, but my husband hasn't done any treatment for his finding yet. So I'm wondering if I should just get Paragone or some other general parasite treatment for him. The naturopath that did the testing told him not to worry about the finding, but I disagree with that.

To make sure there is a little less confusion on the topic of parasites, we need to realize that there is one tick-borne parasite that we all know about already - Babesia. It is a blood parasite.

Twinkl - I would find out if this is what your Naturopath discovered before doing treatments that may not be necessary- if it's not, then find out what parasite he actually found.

Once you find out, if you are still concerned about the parasite that was found (I would be too), then check out the different brands of parasite treatments - they are not all created equal. You must be sure to treat for the parasite that your hubby has - otherwise you are spending money you don't have to, exposing hubby to unnecessary treatments, and could possibly be doing some harm.

I guess I'm suggesting that you be careful to do your research, be sure to get what hubby needs, and only that. Gee, that seems a lot simpler to say too, huh?? Giggle!
