More good progress...I am noticing very positive progress forward. I was at work today joking and carrying on - much different than just a couple of weeks ago where I watched the clocks tick by the seconds hiding away on my own. My freaky neuro symtpoms are slowly but surely receding more into the background. I am running again - 3 1/2 miles today. It feels good and I am knocking on wood!
I went to see another LLMD Monday to get a 2nd opinion on the stuff I have been doing and she more or less agreed with what my current LLMD is doing - the only thing she suggested was to DOUBLE my Ceftin/Biaxin dosage to try to get more abx into my brain and shake out the Lyme. She also said she only uses Flagyl 2 days a week since it's such a powerful abx and causes big herxes.
I am not out of the woods by far. I have gall bladder pain and will get a sonogram Friday to have it looked at. Plus, still some ringing in the ears but not nearly as bad as before. The new doc order me a full panel of Lyme and co-infections blood work to see if I have any of those - LabCorp only showed Lyme in me and I was negative on the co-i's. Igenex is a better indicator of the co-i's I am told.
So right now, I am still on the Ceftin/Biaxin. I added Byron White's A-BAB and A-L Complex herbals abt 3 weeks ago - very slow ramp-up. I also started colostrum 3 weeks ago. Maintain a very healthy diet - detox with baths, dry skin brushing, juicing, FIR sauna and some running, plus ACUPUNCTURE (is really good) and meditation. I also added Yasko's methylation protocol on Oct 18th and I attribute that to helping me SLEEP.
Things are looking up I say and hope the progress forward and better continues!
