Inability to taste and whole body numbness

From September through mid-November, I could not taste any food and I have a slight numbness throughout my entire body. In mid-November, the taste came back and the numbness went away. Could this be a sign of Lyme? I honestly have no idea what it could be.

I have a doctors appointment, but it will be a long time before I can get in.

I don't take any medications, and I eat healthy and take care of myself.

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear of your unnerving symptoms. While Lyme has some very curious symptoms, we are not really in a position to diagnose you. Heck, we can't even see you!

It might help you to look at the "New to Lyme? " thread at the top of the forum. It has symptom lists and other descriptions of Lyme disease that might help you determine if this is what is ailing you.

While you wait for your doctor's appointment, you might take time to write down your health history including any lifestyle changes or events ... anything that you can think of that might have affected your health.
