Basically, my interpretation is that the numbers monitor the degree of infection in your body. My doctor hasn't been testing these in me - although I looked back at old bloodwork from another doctor and my C4a was upwards of 8000. My current doctor has been testing C4 which is within normal range, but I'm not sure if these are the same, or similar, or not related at all! There's my 2 cents
