One thing that might indicate you have Lyme is if you start feeling worse now that you are on the Doxcy.
Here are some tips if you find that you do have it:
You might feel a lot worse before you start feeling better. You may have new symptoms that you never had before now that you are on the Doxcy. You might even feel awful one day and okay the next. Some days or weeks can even be really really bad. It will probably go in cycles. It will take a while (think months or more, not days or weeks) to get fully better, but you can do it!
Try to keep your stress down as much as you can. For the stress you can't avoid, learn ways to relax in the midst of it and to not let it affect you too much. Find things you enjoy thinking and doing that will allow your brain to take a break and keep you calm.
Avoid staying up too late if you can't sleep in the next day. I used to stay up until 2 or 3 AM and get up at 7 AM the next day. Now I can't even stay up until 1 AM without being exhausted for the next two days straight. I find that my body later pays for when I do too much or get too little sleep.
