Little red bumps on legs

Hi,

I've had tiny little red bumps (though some are larger than others) on the top part of my legs for a while. I'm wondering if these are lyme related b/c I once read they were.

Anyone else have these? I detox in the sauna often (have one at home) and it doesn't seem to help them go away.

I'm wondering if dry skin brushing would eliminate them???

I have something similar. They are near my knees and usually come out at night or after I take a shower as purple dots. They are not extremely raised and they came for the first time when I had a really high fever in the fall. I'm not sure what they're from. I have tested positive for Lyme and so far babesia is another suspicion, so maybe one of those caused it.

I haven't been able to get them to go away either. I'm hoping when the bacteria is out of my system it will improve on it's own.

i have Rocky Mountain spotted fever...and always after a nice hot long bath...or standing in warm shower for a while...i get these.....and they sometimes itch a little...but as soon as my skin cools down they "go in" to where i almost cant see them.....i also get this rash around ankles and wrist...but mostly insides of my thighs...but only when my skin gets warm

LymieAngel how did you know you had that? Is there a test for it? I had suspected that when I first got sick because the rash that I had combined with a 105 fever looked a lot like it, but I'm in the Northeast so the regular doctors didn't pay any attention to it. Although I had traveled down the coast by car about 10 days before I got sick.

Mine also increase after a hot shower and then disappear although the do reappear when my legs are cold sometimes also. They are on the insides of my knees mainly and sometimes are very noticeable.

wow....thats surprising that your LLMD didnt check for it...there is a sensitivity test for it....and RMSF is very prominant in NC and east coast area southward....i had a high fever for almost str8 three years.....and then i would just carry a low fever....which would cause me to feel "clammy" which is horrible......i have alot of problems with my salivating glands....for example....if i go alittle while without eating and then i put something in my mouth thats "strong with flavor".....it actually hurts when my mouth waters.....i have episodes when my mouth salivates...it causes a brief "lockup" on my jaw and i will start to move my mouth slowly trying to get it to ease up.....are you the one that was "electrical"?...did u see my post the other day about not being able to rid your toxins?....i know with RMSF that sometimes our blood will get sluggish and cause clots.....i think i currently have one behind my right knee.....and my periods are aweful....but im thinking im going to get an "ablasion" which thins out your uterine wall.....but i cant think of anything else other than rashes that its any different....it does have a fatality rate so i would encourage you to push your doc to have you tested for it.....and i know i have passed the RMSF on to my son because he rashes us when his skin gets warm also

I have the small red dots on my chest and my doctor said it was the babesia.  Where she got that I don't know. Most of my symptoms, burning hands and feet, brain fog, and weakness are symptoms of bartonella and I tested negative for it. It is so confusing.

i think on the DR jones kids website they have pictures of different rashes.....and too google give the differences on RMSF and lyme rashes.....the RMSF are usually pretty tiny...sometimes looks bruisy..and i have had some before they looked like little whiteheads....freakyfreaky stuff.....and my ankles would have welps....
