LOL, LymieAngel! That's why I wear boots!!
Helps to support my ankles, as I have that same tendency.
I sure hope you didn't hit your head! A turned ankle and passing out are enough!
I'm so very sorry to hear that you deal with this as well! I've gone through several periods where I have had to deal with those symptoms. Most likely it's autonomic instability - POTS, Neurally Mediated Hypotension, or Orthostatic Hypotension. Here is a great site that has links to each of these conditions, so that you can narrow down what may be going on.
www.lymeinfo.net/autonomic.html LOL - my most memorable time passing out was when I was walking back to the bedroom after my 2 am trip to the potty! I first passed out for a few seconds in the hallway - thinking "all I have to do is to get to the bed before it happens again!" - so I took off - as fast as I could stumble and bounce off the walls! I didn't quite make it to the bed. We have a concrete floor in our bedroom (soon to be wooden), and fortunately hubby left his work boots at the end of the bed -something I used to fuss at him for!! I found myself face down in his work boots! I remember the very first thought I had was weird - "at least he doesn't have bad foot odor!" LOL!
