What Medication options are there for Bartonella?

I am 'late stage lyme' and right now the Bartonella bacteria(?) is having a field day in my body.  I was told by the LLMD (I do not like this one and am currently on other LLMD wait lists) that the medication to treat Bartonella is only available in oral form.  Is there only one medication that treats Bartonella cause that's what he made it sound like.  

Do biofilms need to be addressed at same time for successful treatment?

I guess it would be BLO instead of the Bartonella (Cat Scratch Fever). OMG! I feel like I am going crazy and the medicine the 'LLMD' is talking about is for Cat Scratch Fever!

you can start taking herbs while waiting for your appointment with doc.
herbs can bring down symptoms.
cats claw , neem , aloevera, echinacea etc.

I'm slightly confused by your first post. There are several antibiotics that seem to target Bartonella well. Rifampin, Levaquin and Ciprofloxacin (sp)

As far as the biofilms, I think it depends on how your doctor is approaching your treatment. Some doctors will treat bartonella first and Lyme afterwards, while some will treat both at the same time. I know that biofilms are an issue with Lyme, but I'm not sure about bartonella. Your doctor will probably know the answer to this (hopefully!).

Sorry to hear you're not happy with your current doctor - I've been there, it stinks!
