Hi Everyone,
Supposed to start IV Glutathione tomorrow. I am on 3 abx now. Today is terrible! I feel dizzy, balance is a little off, neck is really bad off, and full blown panic and depression. Out here alone is taking a toll on me psychologically.
My appt with LLMD is not till the 15th (next week). Right now, I am thinking I may not even make it that long. I called them but they can't really talk to me as I have not seen them yet...
How bad am I supposed to be feeling while on abx? Is this normal? How long does this last?
I feel so out of control!

Yes, unfortunately, it's "normal". It's a very tough state. Try all the detox forms at your disposal - lemon water, epsom salts and H2O2 bath, coffee enema (I know - sounds like yuck but they work), Walk around the block in fresh air...seriously, I have been exactly where you are and still get there sometimes....it will pass!

This is a real battle... No one to talk to out here. I think the isolation of the disease is hitting me the hardest.
Thank You

I have been there and still am.
Just keep fighting with anything and everything you can.
I enjoy taking the epsom salts and h202 bath. Helps me relax which is very important.
Keep us posted and vent as needed that's what we're here for. lol
You are not alone we are all here for anyone who is in this.

Thanks- I am really struggling to hang in there today. I was diagnosed with Tourette's in my 20's and have always been prone to anxiety and panic but those had been under control for the last several years. I had come off meds and was doing great.
I guess I need to do my breathing and maybe try to let the dogs out and walk them.... Hard to do with full out panic and so lethargic.
I have faced some difficult things in life- one of which almost took my life but I must admitt this is by far the worst thing I have ever been faced with.
Thanks, I will work on calming down and take the dogs for a walk.....

Feel link a wimp but appreciate the help.

Excellent! You'll get through it. I have suffered panic attacks at various times in my life too. It turns out, it's probably been Lyme for 35+ years! Distraction helps too. Plus guided meditation, breathing, etc. Detox is also very key! I use the mnemonic FAFL. Face the problem, Accept it without judgment, Float with it as if riding a wave. And, Let time pass.....be well, my friend.

Hi BBRH - hang in there! Unfortunately with treatment and herxing come some pretty dark days sometimes - I've had days where nothing in my bag of tricks can help. Those are the days I take it easy - sometimes literally do nothing, if that's what it takes, until it passes.
Hopefully starting the glutathione will help you to feel a little bit better soon!
The emotional toll this takes on us can be the worst part - but we are here to help! And don't forget you can always feel free to email me if you just need someone to talk to. No one should have to feel alone going through all of this!

Please don't feel like a wimp. We have all been there. Unfortunately, it means the treatment is working. The most important thing is try and relax and be kind to yourself. Get lots of rests and reassure yourself that you will get well, it just takes one day at a time.
I went through all of the horrific days and would cry and cry and couldn't imagine how I was going to make it through. and now I just can't believe I can feel as good as I do. You will get there too. But it takes patience and positive thinking.
Keep yourself busy with deep breathing, music, crafts, reading, anything to get your mind off of being sick.
Remember one day at a time.

Don't EVER feel alone. I know what you mean! But this group is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously. We will listen. You can always email me. I check my email frequently and I would be more than happy to be your "email support" buddy :) I have not yet started abx, but I will be next month when I see the LLMD and I am scared. The anxiety I face on a normal basis is scary as heck, so I can not even imagine it getting worse.
We are all here for you. Vent away.

Traveler--I can see that. It's so amazing that I can go somewhere where people actually understand me. It's wonderful. Thank you so much.

It's the members that create and keep that atmosphere here!! Just having four Mods wouldn't create that type of situation - and our members are the bestest!
