Hi Sick of sick!
Welcome to our little spot on Healing Well! I am so glad you found us! If you haven't already, it would be beneficial for you to start with reading through the thread at the top of the forum titled,
"New to Lyme?...Start here!!", as it is packed full of relevant information, symptom lists and informative links that have been put together by our members here! Most of those who have read through it have said that it was very helpful!!
We also have a pretty good search function on this forum to help you narrow down your search for information from past posts. We must be our own health advocates now and the best thing to arm yourself with is knowledge about
our infections and the different ways to treat them!
Of course the first thing you need to have checked out is if there is something else going on with your organs in the abdominal area before assuming it's nothing to worry about
. Once it's been determined that you don't have something else going on there, Lyme would explain what you are experiencing.
Your symptom of pelvic pressure could be just from inflammation in your abdominal area - I get that. I also have a lot of intestinal cramping. This could easily explain the inflammation in your abdominal area.
Do you have an appt with a Lyme Literate Medical doctor yet? Do you need to find one? It's really quite important to your healing to find a doc that knows and understands the newest scientific evidence when it comes to treating tick-borne infections. By using an ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society) trained doctor, you should get exactly that.
Maybe if you could tell us a bit more about
your situation, we would be better able to give you advice and tips on how to deal with where you are with these diseases.
Another thing that would benefit even those without a tick-borne infection is detoxing! We have a really great post on detoxing when one has a tick-borne infection in our "New to Lyme?" thread. It's the second post down and detoxing is spoken of about
1/2 way through that post. Don't forget to read about
the dry skin brushing and drinking lemon water as well! They are all tools to help your body recover from and fight these infections.
Once again, Welcome!!
We look forward to getting to know you through your posts!
