It seemed so far off since i tested positive in December but I finally made it to my First Apoinment with LLMD.

I had been on Doxycycline and Flagyl since I tested positive and have been feeling rough for the most part.


I believe he was very thorough and I feel a new sense of hope and determinaion to beat this stuff now.


He is targeting Bartonella now but was glad I had taken the Dox and Flagyl pre - appointment. He changed things up a little.

Continue:

Flagyl

Glutathione

Low Dose Naltrexone

Vitamin D

New Treatment Includes:

Ceftin

Levaquin

Diflucan

Cerefolin NAC

My Test Levels were low as well so:

Testim

Feel like a walking pharmacy but if this is what it takes than so be it.

you tested for bartonella?

how long ago did you get infected.

You must be handling the abx well for him to give you more.
great for you.

the levequan is what my doc prescribed for bartonella but I didn't have the
$ a the time for the scripts.

keep us posted on how this works out.

Please be sure you only add things into your routine one at a time and give it a day or two before adding in anything else in case you have a reaction - you'll want to know what you reacted to!!

Also, are you already detoxing? If not, please do get started! With all of those abx and things that you are starting, you should be killing off a bunch of bacteria, and as they die, they give off toxins - including ammonia in the brain- and detoxing as is described in the second post in the "New to Lyme?" thread will help your body rid itself of those toxins.

Bucci, I do not know exactly how long I have had this stuff but can say that over the last 12 to 14 months I have been to so many doctors it is crazy...from everything from joint pain, muscle pain, dry eyes, neck problems, sore ribs, feet problems, nerve studies, and on and on...The funny thing is I had asked a few specialist if Lyme was possible and was told no that it did not really exist were I live...Was not asked if i live on property, have animals, have dogs, hunt, or if I had ever had a tick on me???

I first sent our bloodwork to Quest for an ELISA which was negative with band 41 showing negative as well.

I had researched this stuff by then so had already sent bloodwork from a Lyme Friendly Doctor to iGeneX. IT came back with the First Negative but band 41 positive as I am told most people should be. The second test was Positive on 4 Bands and Ind on 1. My CD 57 was at 67. I did have the co-infection panel done but they all came back negative.

I was thinking of running the PCR Tests but am being treated on symptoms.

The LLMD was happy I had already had two months of the other abx and I did show a little problems with yeast but overall I am handling the abx fairly good. However, I will say that since I started them I feel worse then before I did.

Traveler, thanks for the advice. I have had allergic reactions to meds before and that is good advice. I did get an epipen and some benadryll to keep out here in case I run into trouble. By the way, the LLMD said something about Benadryll being good for herxing? I forgot to ask what he meant. Yes, I am taking the detox baths when I can but take more foot soaks. I am drinking one or two Green Vibrance drinks a day, and I drink a water called Cielo that is infused with oxygen. I do not know if that is really helpfull but I read years ago that it was good.

Congrats!

I know the walking pharamcy feeling...but if you can handle it and it helps you get better, go for it!
