Yup.
Racing heart about 7 hours after taking the abx, so about when abx reaches peak blood serum level. Lasts for 2-3 hours. LLMD has now pulled me from the abx, clarithro. I tried "pushing through" for 2.5 months and it led to no improvement in Lyme symptoms, but screaming nightmares.
Skipping heart - got that after 6 weeks on Diflucan daily, think it was a case of my body had had enough of it. Heart would skip for hours on end. These long episodes stopped when I stopped the Diflucan.
I still have skipping heart - right now my theory is my ferritin level. It's low, and only risen very little after systemic candida treatment. Even though lab reports say that "normal range" ferritin level is 13-150 (really big range when you think about it), some online research tells me it really should be 50-70 in order to be feeling well.
I do still wake up at night with a faster heartrate, but am talking elevated to 80-90, not over 120 like it has been.
I'm waiting for my LLMD to come back from vacation next week for a telephone consultation, but I was at the point where the heart stuff was outweighing the benefits of the meds I was on.
Sometimes it can be part of the body's "fight", sometimes it goes to far, and it's better to ease off the meds and talk to your doc. My two cents...
