Interesting info I found out about Probiotics. Anybody familiar with this.

i was taking 400 billion-1 trillion using www.customprobiotcs.com per their calculation of how much was in one of their capsules

thats why i think if you have severe gut issue, store bought probiotis in the range of 10-20 billion do not do much

also i am prety sure this HH herbal treatment for Bartonella wipes out good bacteria as my gut was gurgling for first time in many years 5-6 weeks ago, before i started these HH tabs..and now i am modetly constipated again
and no more gut gurgling.actually i had a little today in magnesium bath and thats after not taking HH for about 4 days)

my point being that many of the things even herbal that kill bugs likely kill good bacteri and upset gut balance which is messed up...anything that is anti-bacterial will kill good bacteria as wel..so you cannot go hog wild on killing and not lose good gut bacterial

hmm, well personally, anything that made me loosen up as you say either the cats claw and/or wormwood did, i would be heavily imbibing that

yes, it did not click in my bart dwindling mind until yesterday, but HH in particular per Zhangs book is a pretty
strong antibacterial..in fact most of his herbs have that component..ie anti bacterial and i believe thats what has shut my gut down as it was working quite marvelously before i went postal with Zhang HH

better probiotics will def help as your main issue seems to be gut related, betaine HCL may help as well to create stomach acid, but the fact that you are gurgling,I believe indicates you have a fair amount of stomach acid..
when tested i had NO detected levels of lactobacillus and about 1/4-1/2 of the bifodobacterium..BUT I believe metal dumping caused most of this along with almost no levels of stomach acid..so for me right now, i guess i have to super dose on either ww.customprobiotics.com; or the www.vsl3.com;

while expensive, i believe these 2 are two of the best for replenishing good bacteria. Genova labs here in US and another lab do most of the gut bacterium testing

the living streams will help increase the good bacteria once i get it started, its sort of like priming the pump imo ..as will the magnesium work to support gut action by improving absorption of potassium which is key imeral in facilitating peristaltis--our guts conveyer belt

now on the wormwood front, it is a strong anti-parasitic, can be very harsh on your liver; it is one of the main components in many parasite purge protocols, particularly Hulda Clarke's..so the fact that it created a bm...i am guessing is a possibility indication of parasites..and good thing..you would need to stay on wormwood for at least a 40 day cycle as these parasites work on the lunar calendar cycle as to their birth and death

also fwiu-from what i understand, wormwood is a very strong serotonin based herb..thats a reason it does not do well with me (I have high serotonin I believe) as likely do many people..but if it didn't turn you into a raving freaking lunatic, and cause much pain, thats a good sign

these bugs eat whatever we eat...if we are eating fine, then so are they..a good diet can help improve our immune system but it will not kill the bugs-parasites-fungus that now lives in us, nor will it really prevent them from expanding their presence imo

Hi Mercury, Black Walnut and Wormwood (Arteminsin) have some similar benfits but not the same.

The latter seems to really be raved about as it has a few more benefits and is a strong anti-parasite guy. I did buy the same. I agree.

Hey you2cuties, I have read so so much on yogurt & probiotics and the stuff advertised on Dr. Mercola's site about probiotics and yogurt and general sites and the "serious" ones say the store bought yogurt regardless of saying "probiotic" has...

...been paturized (heat) to process and the live cultures are dead from the process. Any store brand regardless of what they advertise.

You'd have to get fresh farm non-pasturized yogurt to get the benefits of live cultures in yogurt. It says this rule applies to the smoothie yogurt drinks that are store bought and shops that make the yogurt drink probiotic shakes while you wait.

They say too much pasturization on all of these yogurt products and the live culture is dead. .

As well, if there is any sugar it defeats purpose too.

So it looks like yogurt doesn't match up. :( Sorry.

Can you take natural pills like probiotics or is it pills period you like to keep to a minimum pharmeceutical and natural like probiotics?

I was going to call this company in nevada, I buy their capretta goats milk yogurt from rainbow foods here in SF

It says it has live action cultures. high protien calcium organic and natural. their site looks pretty organic

www.sierranevadacheese.com; I have been meaning to call them so may do tomorow and see where they can ship to, this stuff has to stay refrigerated, but container says...530-934-8660

24 oz container with 6 oz servings only has 4 grams odf sugar per serving whcih is pretty good
and it does say live cultures and lists them

most states can sell raw milk within their state, they just cannot sell outta state, however i was listening to this radio show yesterrcday that said, they can sell their raw milk cheese outta state as i guess after 60 days, the bad cultures die off..not quite sure hat happens or if i heard the reason why other than they can sell their cheese after 60 days

It's like, unless we do it ourself, everything is genetically modified so we need our own garden. My mom's house here she the garden every summer, the lettuce even tastes stronger and more flavourful.

I read today in fact about free range eggs. I'm right now relocated from being sick to a small town on Vancouver Island and right down the street up the hill a farmer sells his for REAL, no "lying" like corporations, free range chicken eggs.

I say this in that, I read companies that advertise free range are still lying. Here's why. Seeing free range on packaging we think they are allowed to forage for food outside in a huge normal land area field and grow naturally outside and eat the right stuff in worms and plants etc, with the seed of course in what farmers feed them. When we see "free range" on packagin and if we don't want to support the poor chickens in cages that can't stretch out ever and just lay eggs in pain, we think we're buying the right eggs and it's humane where they are laying.

Well, not true. The companies advertising "free range" I just found out keep them in small confine cages in a building. Have some way to let them out like an hour a day in small closed pen to eat on ground the wrong stuff that is thrown at them, them back in the building in cages just like the chickens that live there fed there 24/7.

There must be a run that opens like prisoners you know. With a small square patch and then back through the outside wall to the inside they go.

One hour, fed all the wrong food not free range in a dirty small spot. To stretch. An hour. Okay? This whole deal is NOT free range one bit.

It all makes me sick.

YOU got it we need to go back to the old ways huh? We'd be fine, if corporations that make it accesible to get things in stores, weren't so greedy cutting corners and scientifically changing things to do it.

My girlfriend fed me "organic eggs" when I went to the mainland. My breakfast hard boiled organic egg, tasted 1 million times better. I'm like "Oh my gosh these eggs taste so good. So much flavour." I realize today with my scrambled eggs, pale colour, no flavour. Unless tons of salt. Non. Non. I just realized it. I am also realizing with eggs from the store "free range" advertised, like you with the fruit, they taste funny. Yeah, like chemical. And bland. It's the antibiotics.

Good luck with your yogurt quest. Keep in mind, like I said, they advertise they are live. Dr. Mercola and some others say, they are false advertising as shops, supermarkets, still don't have the ability to have live culture in their yogurt regardless of what they say.

Waverunner- wow on the rbghv. I read that acts exactly like mad cow disease but in sheep. Did not know that about the chickens. Even trader joes???? Probably. I am furious!

And I just read they are trying to "genetically modify" goats to have antibiotics in their milk so third world has easy access. They're alwasy using that population to experiment on. And these types of things, always end up getting people sick. They just do what they want to do. Big pharma does a number on third world setting up corporations there, going to villages saying "you need this med if you're sick" we've got it, it's free sign here. These people sign not understanding english, go in and end up a clinical trial person not knowing that's what they were participating in. And get sick. Some, don't come out of the building. I'm very up on this.

Hi Mercury. Yeah, 100 trillion or 100 thousand billion bacteria in our gut. I think it's the "good" bacteria too so it would then make perfect sense we need so so much more to replenish wouldn't it?

Interesting, you can even test for some of this. Okay, that's great though you're not sure of accuracy. But you were very low. And I agree, that's why I am going to get help getting them. Those products you listed have half a trillion, which is 50 billion and run up to 1 trillion which is 100 billion live cultures.

That's a "leap" over what perhaps it's safe to say most of us thought was required daily. The meager 2-5 billion in the stores that have NO guarantee the culture is live never mind it's not enough "billions" in culture.

If you buy $50 - $60 bottles of probiotics that have 5 billion, than the bottles and powders for a few hundred that are a better buy, are possibly more affordable for someone that can spend that on a 5 billion probiotic to begin with. Sheesh................... :)

My instinct tells me, a lot of us don't have a disposable income like that. So a few hundred for a bottle, is a lot, even though it's a better buy as you say.

It's simply not realistic for some of us. I relocated sick and gave up my home. Not realistic for me at all. Furnitures in storage.

My probiotic was $6.00 from Wal Mart compared to your $60 bottle.

So a few hun, is a jump lol. See what I'm saying?

I'll look for a better buy, on your site I can get a $40 bottle of capsules for 100 billion I believe or 100 for powder. $40, I may be able to get help with.

$100 powder I'd like, but that's outta my ballpark.
