I am about
to change up my abx from Doxy back to Biaxin. Can anyone tell me how long you should be off Doxy before it is safe to be in the sun please.
Thank You.

Most abx are out of the system in three days, as I understand it. You might want to start out gradually, though! You might be sensitive just cause you haven't been out.

How exactly do you "stay out of the sun"? I've never wanted to be out in the sun much, but twice in one week I've been out for a little and had bad sunburns and other weird reactions. I'm not sure how to avoid it completely.

Diamblessed: wear sunscreen, long sleeves, hats.
My dr. said that the worst sunburn he ever saw was someone who went to an airshow, didn't wear suncreen, and was on doxy.

Yes, cover up and use sunscreen, but also avoid prolonged exposure. My friend took all precautions but stayed out most of the day and ended up with a very bad sunburn under his finger nails! Ouch!
You can also stay in the shade and go out in the morning or evening. And don't forget you can still get a sunburn on a cloudy day!
