Please help!!! Seizure!!

I so feel for you. I was in ER twice and so was my husband. Tell them about lyme but be persistent. Do you have positive test results yet? Sometimes if you can get her put on IV it will calm the nervous system with influx of fluids and flush the toxins. Do not let them talk you into psychiatric to get her admitted. Is she on antibiotics?

Have you called your LLMD? Is she still having the seizure? Hospitals are okay to rule other things out, but in terms of Lyme, it's rare that they will offer any treatment or even believe what you say in regards to it.

I had two also last month. The first one I was alone, so I didn't do anything about it. I wasn't sure it was a seizure I passed out in a strange way and couldn't feel it coming on like I usually can, and then woke up really disoriented

The second one I was in a doctor's office (not an ER) and luckily the doctor was somewhat lyme-literate. He just suggested going to a neurologist (I didn't yet). Luckily I haven't had another one although I have had the extreme twitching/involuntary movement a few times.

This seems bizzare. Were you in like a Wallmart or
some other formaldahyde enviorment? Hair salon?

Have you checked for thick blood?

Is she taking magnesium? That set me off into major spasms.

Have you read up on Dr Fry ?

maybe if you can list all the meds your daughter is taking someone can relate to an episode.

was it a seizure or like a mini stroke? migrane?

THICK BLOOD while being treated is dangerous and causes this.

Hi All--
Quick update before I go to bed. . . EEG normal, CT normal, bloodwork normal. Sent home, still having some twitching and jerking of arm. Tucked her into bed at home, and luckily she slept for a good long while. Guess all that pain med and exhaustion took over. Oh yeah, we are supposed to take her to a counselor. . .

All was well today, then all of a sudden this evening, it started again. Caity and I were both freaking out. Yes, we see Dr. Jernigan and he has been with us every step of the way. God bless the man!! He suggested a few things, one of them being to see if our chiropractor would come over and adjust her neck. Luckily, she did and after about an hour, the twitching and jerking stopped. Tears of joy--did not think I could take another night of watching that.

Remedies from Dr. j coming tomorrow, and hopefully, this will not keep happening!! Any suggestions? To answer a few questions, we did recently treat our home for bugs. It was all organic, natural--but the second Caity hit the door, she got a headache. No one else could hardly smell the stuff. . . Also, she had gone on a few days of sugar binge. . . Maybe triggers?

I don't know. I never want to see this again. It is scarier than anything I have ever lived through.

Sugar will do it. Gotta stay away from the stuff. It's toxic. Yep, I can smell things NOBODY can smell and everyone thinks im nuts LOL
