well about 3 weeks ago i started having random pains in my joints and legs etc. no headaches but i had been really depressed. having issues in school and dental issues thinking my teeth were falling out. also thinking i had cancer or something.
got back on the internet reading because my lyme tested active again in january, think i got bit by a tick again after about 10 years when i had it last when i was 12. i ended up going to the doctor getting western blot and elisa twice both saying my lyme is inactive. no coinfections. was on doxy for a month in january and relieved my exhaustion
ended up going to a lyme literate infectious disease specialist here. put on doxy for 4 to 6 weeks. the symptoms i had were enough to worry me for a few days then subsided. i have been taking doxy and zoloft for 10 days now. ive noticed with the zoloft that im feeling better about myself.
i have also noticed my symptoms of the aches in my legs and joints have gone away. from reading everyone struggling, im just wondering if i should be worried. i wasnt sure if it was pain related from stress, or pain from lyme. this happened to me 3 years ago, i got depressed, thought i had lung cancer etc thought about symptoms so much i actually felt them.
i know im gonna hear the stress can be from lyme, the ocd thoughts etc i developed ocd a few years ago from obsessing about my health. im just wondering if i should be worried. i feel back to normal. i get an ache in my left leg once or twice through the day but from those 3 or 4 days when i was having weird symptoms im alot better now.
i have been taking the doxy, not having any bad stomach reactions, my stomach handles it well, even january and the time before when i was a kid. i was planning on doing some natural stuff once im done with the doxy incase to rid of any lyme laying around. i want to try to eradicate it totally from my body.
any ideas where to turn? still waiting on the llmd appointment
