   I have not posted for awhile. I have been really ill. I am over a year into treatment , and still have itchy crawly feelings. Is anyone else here bothered by this? I have been treated for babesia, and am now focusing on bartonella.I have been tested for parasites and came up negative.I am going for accupunture now in hopes this will help. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

The last couple of weeks I have also felt like something was crawling all over me and I have no idea why.

I have had this feeling as well but is not constant and recently removed. What meds are you on?

Often, the crawling feeling is due to mycelium (or another) fungus from antibiotics.  The fugus is sort of mutated, and likes to hang out under the skin. 

Due to our (often) sludgy blood, Lyme patients are also prone to picking up mites and other things.  Dermatologists are unable to diagnose/treat the critters unless they actually catch one in a biopsy, which is rare.

I get the same thing - I notice it more when I'm feeling my worst/herxing really badly; I've always attributed it to being overloaded with toxins, but I couldn't tell you for sure what it is. All I can say is that it's pretty common and should go away with time.

Lyme14 - I've never heard anything about fungus from abx or mites - constantly learning new things here! Just wondering, where did you get that information?

This has been present since the onset of my illness. The Dr did just ramp up my meds. Maybe I am herxing??? It's driving me crazy!

I know what you mean about it driving you crazy! I had everybody looking at my back to see what was crawling around there.

For me it came on suddenly and was the beginning of a lot of neurological symptoms. It resolved itself with continued treatment.

Hope it passes soon for you.

I am on Bactrim, Minocycline, Rifampin, and Byron White formulas for babesia, and bartonella. Sure wish this would stop!

Wow that is a lot of treatments at once.

What parasite test have you done?

Did you test for thick blood?
ISAC panel Hemex labs/lab corp


Did your doctor tell you to do Byron white
Formula at same time as other drugs?

It sounds like you are getting to something
But not enough to knock it out and this is like die off
But not killing it all. Thick blood will make
Treatment 10x more torture and even dangerous if
Not ineffective even.

   I have had many parasite tests. I don't remember them all now. Quest was the latest, but before that, I had stool analysis done on 2 different occasions. I have never been checked for thick blood. I must bring that up to my Dr. this month. Thanks! I have been struggling like this for 2 years now. It is unerving to say the least! Oh and yes to the Byron White formulas. I am on 4 different ones. Abart..A Babs... Nt Detox and anti inflam.
