Any recent Hansa experiences?

It didn't work for me and I have spoken to others that were helped and some who didn't get well like myself and some did the at home protocol.

I think most everyone here knows that I became totally well from using Dr. Jernigan's Healing at Home protocol, it's been many years and no relapses. 

Since Dr. Jernigan did write a book I suggest reading his book before you make any decisions.  His view on chronic illnesses is very different compared to other doctors and in my opinion very much advanced.

Hansa can pinpoint what your problems are but once you get home, that's where all the real work starts, i.e.; you must dedicate yourself to detoxing (baths, dry skin brushing, sauna, foot baths, liver and gallbladder cleanses, other internal cleanses, coffee enema's, eating the right foods, etc.).   If you are willing to do the work then you will get well.

Have you bought his book?   Have you listened to his interviews online?  He also trained with Dr. Thomas Rau in Switzerland who also has a video that is about 1-1/2 hours. 

Hansa is not for everyone.  Hansa can not cure emotional problems which I believe is essential in order to heal (mind, body and spirit)...  Hansa can not make a person who sees everything negative into a positive.  Yet Hansa can give a person hope.  Hansa can not remove the stressors of a person's life...  Hansa can provide the tools and then it's up to that person to use those tools...

Deejavu, I don't have emotional problems and don't see everything negative. You said If we are willing to work we will get well. I am facing the facts, reality! I think your statements make those of us who didn't get well at Hansa look like we didn't try hard enough and that just isn't true!


How dare you tell us if we work hard enough we will get well! YOU have no idea how hard we have fought because you are NOT us. You act like Hansa is the moon and stars and can cure anyone and that is NOT true! It has helped some people but there is a list of people it hasn't helped!

I already have hope or I wouldn't still be fighting. I pray every single day that I get well and that there is a cure found.

I have suffered for 10 years and I have fought hard! But there are many strains of Lyme and it's co-infections.
I am glad you got well using that protocol but it doesn't work for everyone no matter how positive we are. There is Nothing that works for everyone or we wouldn't be here discussing treatments, options and offering support.

And for the record, having Lyme is a major stress without anything else going on. I am sorry if my post appears slightly angry but it is. I am tired of people assuming those of us who are still not well after using this treatment or that treatment have emotional problems preventing our getting better. I have fought as hard as you or anyone else to get well. We are all struggling and fighting a hard battle and we don't need you, someone who has been here to insult us. We already fight Dr's and many others that accuse us of being nuts and say we should be well after 30 days of treatment.

Deejavu, I'll be honest with you, you can really hurt people with your statements! Call me emotional or negative or anything else you want if that makes you happy but you are wrong on so many levels! If I were you I would feel ashamed. I would think someone who has been there would have more compassion.

I'm sorry if my words seem harsh but you need to read them because this is not the first time you have said things like this.
Again I am glad it worked for you and there is nothing wrong with offering information about hansa or anything else here that might help others but please refrain from making us feel like we are not trying if it doesn't work for us.

diaba, I think Hansa would help you a lot in my non-medical opinion..  I don't know how much the special is but since you read Dr. J's book and understand how the treatments work, my guess is the doctors there would pinpoint your problems exactly and put you on the right road to recovery.

NoLymeCure4me, I was talking in general and I'm sorry you took it personal.  The way I talked about Hansa would be the same way I would talk about dieting.  I needed to lose 30 pounds so I followed a common-sense Atkins diet.  That took dedication and work just like the way I spoke about Hansa.   I needed to train myself to eat the right foods and avoid the bad ones.  I needed to exercise more than I normally did, etc.

I fought doctors too and I have been down the same road as you not only with lyme but with other issues as well.  When I was 17 years old a car hit me in my legs and I was supposed to die (I'll leave out the details).  I needed 15 operations to put me back together again. 

My point was is that alternative medicine is not for everyone.  That's not a put down, it's just the way it is.  Again, it was not meant to be taken personally.  I would hate to see anyone spend lots of money going to a clinic when they don't have the knowledge of how it works and what the person is instructed to do after they leave the clinic. 

I don't know you since you joined this forum recently and I have no idea of your history before you went to Hansa so how can I talk about you?  I can not.  I truly wish you well in finding what works for you.

thanks for your replys. I'm kind of at my wits end on all this so need to do something. Just wondering if I could manage the travel, heat(i have an ms diagnosis too), renting the car, and even paying attention and learning during the treatments. I get wiped out so easily. I'll let you know how it goes if I do go.

I've had a few mris that did show 4 brain lesions at last count. Had the parasite test which was negative but I'm not sure it's very accurate. Have seen 3 different llmds and researched others. Didn't think I could tolerate the others typical protocols, have had bad reactions to most treatments: antibiotics, ms meds, oxygen, rife, laser detox, gaps diet, herbs, most supplements, mepron, etc...

Have impaired detox pathways per detoxigenomic profile, and don't seem to be able to sweat anymore. tried the ir sauna for 20 min but barely perspired and had bad tinnitus and burning hands feet for days after.

I've been fighting this for awhile now, so seems like I need to try something different

diaba - I'm sorry to hear you're having such a tough time finding what works for you, but you'll get there; it just takes more patience than you think you have, sometimes!

As for Hansa, I haven't personally gone or done the protocol, but I did read the book and found it to be a great addition to my knowledge about this disease and health in general. Even with a simple case of the sniffles, there are so many different ways to go about getting better, and IMO you have to go with your gut, whichever treatment option resonates with you,although I know it gets confusing when factoring in everything else - money, previous experiences, etc.

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you find some healing soon! And I hope we can all help to make it a little easier!

Can you tell me where this center is? My child has had lyme 6 years and gets a little better but has chronic sinus issues.

diaba, Seeing your post reminded me of when I was trying to decide whether or not to go to the Hansa Center! My heart goes out to you because your situation sounds very familiar. Much like my own. I had severe chemical sensitivity and moderate EMF sensitivity along with lyme, co-infections and a laundry list of symptoms. My LLMD could not get to first base with me because I could not tolerate antibiotics, herbals or homeopathics. I was basically trapped in my own home -- any exposure would cause me to have severe, disabling symptoms that lasted for 3-5 days. The only place I could really "be" was in my home which was renovated to be very low chemical just for me.

I, too, was at my wits end when a friend found out about the Hansa Center and suggested it to me. By this point I had been to 35 doctors and none of them could get me very far down the healing path. Only 3 had a small degree of success. The progression was short lived and then I just plateaued. At that point, they would give up on me. Most doctors would not touch me. It was hard for me to even consider dealing with a new doctor again.

My friend ended up going to the Hansa Center and I became a member on this forum just so I could keep in touch her while she was there. She did so well that I went to the Center, too. I never came back on the forum to report how I did -- in hind sight, I definitely should have!

The doctors at the Hansa Center were able to accomplish what the 35 doctors before them could not -- they were able to balance my body in a way that allows it to use the supplements (remedies) I need in order to heal. I have not had any lyme/co-infection symptoms since last September or so. So miraculous! The sensitivities have greatly reduced to the point that I can go anywhere I need to and not suffer debilitating symptoms. I can eat a lot of foods now. I only had a handful when I started going to the Center. I have recovered to the point that I am working 2 part time jobs from home, 6 days a week. It is so wonderful to have my life back!

Diaba, sorry for some of the controversy going on. Borderlyme's suggestion of going with your gut feeling is good. Just remember that if it's not chiropractics or herbals, less people will be willing to step out of the norm to try something different and several who have never tried it will speak out against it. Science just doesn't know all and there are other alternatives that do help people.

Reading his newer book is a good idea as was said. It's available from the Hansa website.

jjlasko- I am very sorry to hear that your child has been sick for so long. My daughter was sick for about 6 years before we took her to the Hansa Center. She is well today. The only issue seems to be that she still has hormonal issues. She takes replacement hormone therapy to compensate. it is almost impossible to heal the Adrenals if they are continually stressed. Unfortunately my daughter got right back into the pool even before she was completely well. Frankly, in light of her prior illness and her deficient adrenals, she is doing the impossible thanks to the Hansa Center. I don't have any vested interest or receive ANY financial remuneration from the Hansa Center. I am just a happy and thrilled dad that loves to watch his daughter enjoying the college life and athletic competition.

She is going back to the clinic in mid august for a few days to tuneup for the next year's regular college swim season and start practicing again on august 25.

It makes my heart happy to see that Heather is immensely enjoying life again. I wish the same for you and your child again. I know what you are going through.

Regardless of what you do as far as future treatment is concerned, I have a few suggestions that may help your child.

1) Use a Neti Pot to flush out the sinuses. My daughter had a lot of infection in her sinuses,, and the neti pot flushed out a lot of crud.

2) Set up a "Diffuser" next to your child's bed. Put a few drops of an essential oil into the diffuser every night. The diffuser will aerosolize the essential oils with the water into a mist that will be inhaled by your child. We used "Thieves Oil" and "Melrose Oil" by Young Living. Of course you can use any good essential oil of your choice that is anti fungal, anti bacterial, and anti virus. Thieves Oil is a good all around wide spectrum antimicrobial. I don't have any vested interest or association with that company or its products. I just am a happy user!

3) Rub a few drops of the oil on the sinus areas topically as well.
