Hi all,

I'm new here and was diagnosed with Lyme in December after having extreme head ache/pressure, air hunger, panic attacks, depression, and dizziness. It's turned my life upside down - I have been on 200mg of Doxy per day and now after four and a half months, my doctor back east won't give me more. We just moved to Southern CA and I'm hoping to find a LLMD - can anyone recommend?

Also, I have this very very weird head buzz/pressure/dizziness that's impossible to describe and it keeps me from lifting my head many days of the week. Anyone experience this?

For about 10 years I've felt like I have a lot of pressure in my head and extreme dizziness and I have a weird zap feeling in my head.

Where in the east did you move from. Yes, I have had severe head pressure always in
the back of my head/neck area.Terrible dizziness and major panic attacks along with it comes nausea and the only way to stop it is ice to the back of neck and laying down. Has lasted for 2 weeks at a time

You can also go to The Lyme Disease Association and search for LLMD's 3 times in a month. You have to register first. Here is the link: www.lymediseaseassociation.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=277&Itemid=74

You will want to find an ILADS (International Lyme And Associated Diseases Society) doctor. The ILADS site is a great place to read to get you started on your Lyme journey.

Thank you for all the resources - BriinOhio, I am from CA, but we lived in Great Falls, VA outside of DC for five years. How long have you had these head symptoms and how long will they last?

Are there any LLMD that accept insurance in Southern California? Or are they all the same cash only and lots of money?
