Detox foot baths

I have been REALLY bad about doing my detox baths from a combo of exhaustion/pain & lack of enough hot water to fill my giant garden tub. I know I need to get better about detoxing so I've been thinking about just doing foot baths. Anyone here do them? What do you use for the tub? (I have no idea where/what to buy)

I've been using the foot soak from Jernigan and while I like it, there is a lot of cayenne in it. If you do a foot soak with cayenne be VERY careful when you dump it. I have to dump it really slowly or I manage to breath some in and it will trigger my asthma. It's like it shoots right into my lungs.

a friend on youtube in her vid said she bought a small sauna and has been using that. she believes the heat helps to kill the spirochetes and helps to detox as well. she has the chronic lyme. she seems to believe the hi heat helps. as opposed to foot baths, heating the whole body, cos the lyme cells are spread over yer whole body might be better than foot soaking. along with antibiotics that weaken the spirochetes, the hi heat may contribute to a speedier death of the lil buggers. i'm gonna take hot baths during my doxy course. i was infected 12 days ago and i'm told i can beat it with a few weeks of doxy. i pray this is true. really all that remains of lyme symptoms is a dull persistent headache i can kill with Ibuprofen and that dang nagging mind dulling fatigue. hard to sleep still. got some last night. I used to use a baby tub that my nephew outgrew (shaped like a turtle - very classy!) ...now I use an actual footbath that my mom had lying around which she never used. In a pinch a big bucket will do just fine. I don't do it that much - I like the full baths better because my muscles are so sore and it feels really good, but when I do the footbaths I use Jernigan's recipe - cayenne, ginger, rosemary and mustard - the rosemary I love - gives you a sense of well-being, even just from soaking in it, and I believe the others stimulate heat and circulation. Sometimes I like to add epsom salts as well just for that relaxing effect.
