Last year I was bit by a bug, I did not see the bug but the bite area was numb and hot to the touch for a few hrs after, the next two days were fine and then I got a "bullseye" rash and had a hard knot at the site of the bite. It was the entire size of my calf. Not long after thatI started getting this dull pain and tingling in my head, and have had it ever since. I had blood work done for Lyme disease and it came back negative and I also had ct scan and mri to make sure there was nothing else going on. Those were both normal as well, and we never really determined what the tingling sensation was from. Well I started seeing a chiropractor shortly after that and I was out of alignment and have been going regularly since, I started to feel better after a couple months of having the adjustments, just having the sensation every once in a while rather than all day, but now the tingling is back almost daily and I am not sure why. I have not done anything differently in the last couple weeks. Is it possible that the blood test for Lyme was not a sensitive enough test? I ask because I have read that sometimes they will come back false and actually are positive. The sensations started right after I was bitten by the bug(tick) while we were camping in an area that is known to have ticks. Does this sound like Lyme or something else? Would it be possible for the test to be negative and still have it? Thank you
