I have comleted my 2 weeks on Zithromax and Ceftin and tolerated well. Have been taking probiotic. Start Flagyl tomorrow and very nervous about
that due to some things I have read. I am a nurse so I know everyone reacts differently. Can someone share any negative experiences I might need to be on the look out for? My sons and husband will be out of town this weekend so I will be alone with no family in town and a bit nervous!! Thanks!!

Took it for a week in June for a bacterial infection. Didn't have any side effects from it, but had horrible cognitive problems, fatigue, pain, etc. a few weeks after taking it.

Personally, I had a pretty strong reaction -- my bowels got very loose. I think it was because of all the toxins released. It wasn't long before that settled down, however.
You should be okay, but perhaps you would feel better if you told a friend about
your situation.
