It's been a while since posting to the board. I've been busy and also trying out a new treatment. I've hired a fellow board member as my LLNP. So far we've been treating with my normal abx (Tindamax and Zithro) and her naturopathic treatment.
Safe to say I've improved over the past 8-10 weeks and I attribute it solely to my LLNP's treatment. She is fantastic! I think we're really getting somewhere. Back when I first started with my LLMD he said he was going to "fine tune my body." Well, it's been 8 months and enough is enough. I've gone through three different abx cocktails as well as a horrible allergic reaction to Bactrim.
I'm going to try and go the full natural route. I know that most LLMD's would frown against stopping abx altogether, but I'm going to try and go this route. Really the only change is going to be taking a natural anti-viral/antibiotic as opposed to the regular abx.
Just because she was curious, I picked up my bloodwork from my LLMD for my LLNP to look over. One of the things that jumped out was that my EBV VCA IgM was positive as well as an elevated Rheumatoid Factor (30.2) and a slightly elevated Hemoglobin (16.9).
I called my LLMD and he said not to worry about it as the test is old, but my gut says WHAT??? Not worry about it?
I've done my fair share of Google-ing and searching this forum for the past 24 hours and I'm at a loss as to what to think. Is there a connection with LD and EBV? And is there a LLMD out there who sees this and treats it along with the LD? Seems to me that just about everyone has it, but it lays dormant. Mine was laying dormant until the LD brought it out. And because it's a virus, wouldn't taking abx for a long period of time really hinder trying to get over it? It's crazy, I know, but I'm hopeful we've discovered the core of what's ultimately wrong with me.
My LD is all in my head, on my left side. Can't do any cardio activity outside of walking. I tried to run last week for the first time in probably 6 months or so and it felt like I released the beast in my head when I was finished. Major brain fog, some light-headiness, etc.
Anyways, thanks as always for reading and BIG thanks for any replies. If you'd like the name of my LLNP, just ask.
Cheers.
