Set up to fail cant afford ABX

There are a number of programs that you can get on to help you afford the abx that are prescribed, although most all of them are income-based.

Try contacting the Pharma company that makes the Doxy. Most big Pharma co's have programs for those who can't afford their meds.

I know what you mean, Random!! That foggy feeling was with me for years! That's why I keep on posting links - they may be posted elsewhere, but with a Lymie's foggy brain, who's to say we would be able to find them!! LOL!!!

OMG Random!! What on Earth?? That IS absurd!!!!! Just an FYI, I started on herbs this past weekend because I wasn't tolerating the antibiotics and I'm already feeling it, which I'm guessing it means they work! One bottle of herbs that will last me for 90 days was $80. Another was $15. Just know that there are other paths to healing in case the programs Traveler mentioned don't work out. Hope it works out for you so you can get your Doxy!!

Lots of times those programs for free or low-cost abx like that are regulated by the strength of the meds, so be sure that the dosage needed for treating these infections is still covered.

Check them all out carefully, compare cost to what they ask you to do - some will charge a fee and some will require you to fill out forms, sometimes each time you need a refill. So check them out and find one that will work best for your situation.

You must be talking about doryx? Which my llmd preferred also 150 mg twice a day? I couldn't afford it at $1100 where I live so we switched to plain old doxy and that was $51 for 100 mg 4 a day... talk to your llmd I bet that's what happened. I have seen the discount cards for $10 copay for doryx though ask your doc about that too.

I think and don't quote me but doryx is extended release and doxy isn't
