Bit by Tick, Treated 5 months later

Hello Everyone,

A friend of mine was bit by a tick, but didn't start antibiotic treatment until 5 months later. Since then, he has been under the care of an LLMD and is being treated with both antbiotics and herbs, and ozone therapy.

Does anyone know if he caught it soon enough so as not to get chronic Lyme? In my case Lyme wasn't diagnosed.until about six years of getting sick.
His remaining symptoms are some odd pains and anxiety. He was very healthy before getting Lyme.

Hi spaztick, I don't think there is anyway to know whether it was caught or not.  I would think that if you pound it long and hard with antibiotics and treatment, you should be able to catch it before it becomes systemics, especially in someone with a good immune system.  But you never know.  Some people suffer severe symptoms immediately after the bite and some it takes months or years to show any symptoms.
