Actually, just because it's part of the disease doesn't mean it's not 'real'. I would suggest that you use some medication (herbal or Pharmaceutical) to help you get through this period when the anxiety is this high for you - I was on anti-anxiety meds for about
1 1/2 years. It's no fun, but it's better than trying to suffer through it. Remember, we don't get extra points for suffering more!!
On the detoxing, why not use the foot soaks instead then? Of course it's not just as effective as soaking your whole body, but it's definitely better than not doing either! And more convenient too! I usually soak my feet in the morning while eating breakfast, or in the evening while relaxing before bed.
