You're not saying what symptoms, how long you've been taking serrapeptase and what dosage and what else you're taking.
Serrapeptase is a good systemic enzyme and well studied. Unfortunately it is also one with the most side effects. Perhaps you can do a search and check whether what you're experiencing are side effects or other.
As regards biofilm, there aren't studies showing exactly what works best. My personal experience is that enzymes can help improve but not on their own. Although they have a lot of benefits, I personally don't think they definitely reduce biofilm though they may help a little.
Currently my favorite approach, I learnt from a study on biofilm in the food industry (see link below), quite limited not being Lyme-related nor in-vivo but not much else is available, is to use a combination of systemic enzymes, plant surfactants, chelating agents and anti-microbials.
At this stage I don't have a definite answer but the approach is similar to that of certain doctors, for e.g. Dr Fry, that use a combination of chelating agents, systemic enzymes and anti-microbials.
A low-fat diet seems also important in both weakening and preventing biofilm formation.
