I heard this, too, and had it explained to me. I have no idea if this is accurate, though!! For real, don't take my word for this. The logic that was explained to me was: you're still "getting colds" when you have a suppressed immune system, but as your body is not as adequately fighting them, you don't get typical cold symptoms... That is to say, the symptoms we associate with having colds are actually the symptoms of our immune systems fighting the colds... fevers for example. Hmmmm... accurate?
