Hey Gar,

Thank you for the reply. I am actually not very well aware of groups, etc., although I would certainly like to get involved. I have been very reluctant to do so, for some reason. I suspect that it has to do with the admission of having a real problem, among other reasons.

I would certainly like to hear more from the person you have mentioned and described. How might I get in contact with you two? I do not see contact information in your profile (where my email address is located), but I would love to talk.

Anyone else have ideas for a project, advice, ideas, etc.?

Yes...I like that idea. I think that the creation in advance of such an entity...some sort of "Lyme/Co Council"...would be very beneficial for several reasons. Maybe some sort of board of strategically-important and useful members could govern the process of determining next-steps.

Does anyone know how an organization like this might be structured (legally, fundamentally)? Pros and cons of different methodology?

I am in the process of working with him and discussing the situation's options.

Seems like it's time, though, to move to another website where moderators don't borderline-harass law-and-rule-abiding patrons.

Well, I'm so sorry that you feel that you can ignore the rules of this forum. I have to ask these questions as I have been put in charge on this forum to make sure rules are followed. Being a 'rule keeper' is not my goal in life, but helping people here outweighs that.

If you can't follow the rules here, then maybe you are right, it's time for you to find another forum where they don't mind you not following the rules so much.
