Hi Konawind!
I would say give it time to heal and adjust before you decide anything. I had bone grafting done for implants and I'm fine.
Violets, I had my teeth knocked out when I was 17 years old from getting hit by a car when I was crossing a street, so what would you have done with no teeth? Would you have gone toothless for your entire life? I lost bone, my teeth, my chin, etc. and that was only in my head.
And what about people who lost their limbs? Titanium has done wonders for so many people! Violets, perhaps you should think twice and start doing your research and opening up your mind to other situations that perhaps have not crossed your mind.

Sorry, this is a sore point with me because I went through it and now at 56 years old I am still going through it once again because I need new implants so I can wear an implant supported denture because I gag on a regular denture. And during one of my gum operations (I had many) I was suffering with lyme and it didn't make a difference.
That's all,
Denise
