Hey kds,
I would have a severe anxiety attack if anyone close to me acted like that! I am going through post-menopause as well and when it first started I would break out into tears, get depressed, insomnia, etc. When it was really bad I finally decided to see a holistic doctor who specialized in bio-identical hormone therapy because I thought I needed it. Instead she put me on other supplements which really helped me (natural estrogen and progesterone). She said I wasn't ready for the bio-identical hormones and I ended up never taking them.
Is your Mom taking any supplements for her menopause? Diet is also important as well as exercise.
Hang in there, just remember it's not your fault...
