Has anyone heard of the "Lyme saliva test" test. You have to spit into a glass of water ten minutes after you wake up and the way the saliva settles in the water has a certain meaning?

This is what it says about
the test but it does not tell you what the test shows after you do it.
1. Upon awakening and before drinking anything, fill a tall glass with water and spit into it.
2. After 10 minutes, observe and report the following.
- spit stays in lump on the surface
- spit partially separates into a few vertical strings.
- spit has major separation and many vertical strings.

This is the candida spit test which will tell you if you have an overgrowth of yeast, often as a consequence of prolonged abx usage for lyme.

Thanks Hugh,
Do you happen to know the interpretation of how the saliva settles? Not sure why I have to do this test when I am not on any meds.

I have noticed my spit (mornings are the largest in quanity) is long and striggy. If I look close, it appears to have the same pattern as my leasions which are all over my body. The stands are thick and long 6 inches or longer and appear to have 8 dots like a pencil mark. The leasions on my body are usually domino shaped with 4 black dots on each side. My stool produces the same stuff. After many tests, "nothing is found". They see it but labs, stool tests etc does not provide any useful info. This stuff comes out of my nose , ears, eyes at times and is milkly in color. I have no hope that anyone can help me - I've given up after 30K plus. No more false hope. Im done!

Thank you for the info.
It breaks my heart to hear about
how much people in America have to pay for tests and doctors.
