moon?

  looked like a full moon tonight

 

  it was huge and low and looked ominous when I saw it outside earlir

 

 it thought, oh dear

 

  but i think it is tomorrow night the 28th?

What does the full moon have to do with symptoms flaring?

Okay, glad I'm not the only one wondering what the heck is going on here. I have felt awful for the last 2 days. Nausea like you would not believe.

If I remember correctly, the reason that we feel the effects of a full moon (symptom increase usually) is because of it's gravitational pull. This affects the tides of the ocean, so we know that it has an effect on water.

Lyme is at least partly an inflammatory disease - one with lots of inflammation in the cells of our bodies, not just in our joints and such - and so, the body fluids respond to the increased gravitational pull of the moon - including the increased 'fluid' in the inflamed cells.

I sure hope that made some sense! I'm exhausted from a very late night delivering goats.
