+Lyme, I dont know if contracting Lyme is the root of these things. Right now I wonder if Lyme is just a bug that holds the door open and lets other things in and become rampant.. I believe the mycoplasma came maybe 5 years ago after getting eaten up by sandflies/mosquitos in the carribean. I think that brought the saprophytic fungi.. and then we moved to seattle and I picked up the mycoplasma.. I may have had the strep and lyme since childhood.. I believe when my system gets particularly beat down by stress, great physical trauma (for me a car accident and then a decade and a half later, a 50 hour intense labor followed by a c-section. Then I had to stay up for an additional 36 hours because they wanted to observe my baby in the nicu and I wouldnt have let her out of my arms for anything, I was also pumped full of abx.) or just constant illness from the myco and strep the lyme takes advantage and effects me neurologically and in my joints. I believe because of my MTHFR mutations my body could not process any of this and it also helped keep me sick in a toxic soup.
But here is a twist.. we just found out my husband also has lyme, myco and strep (these are all labcorp verified- so no muscle testing or special labs).. waiting on tests for bartonella, babesia, RMSF, etc. My doctor says it can be transmitted from person to person and who knows who got what when. My husband lived in a very wooded area and remembers many many ticks. He also battled reoccuring strep as a child.
Did he give it to me? Did I have it separately and he got it separately? Did I give it to him? Who knows. But until the mycoplasma took over this last year in his body because he was running himself ragged trying to take care of me and the kids, you would have sworn my husband was the picture of health.
Re: Babesia
I dont think I have Babesia.. or it just is hiding and hasnt come out yet. Ive studied any microscopic images I can find of it online. So, I dont know how a titer number for it would relate to what you can see. Babesia seems to look very unique judging by the pics ive seen, so if it is actually in your bloodcells, not just buzzing around in the spaces in between I would think you could see it and it wouldnt take hundreds, but for instance, the saporophytic fungi, Ive only caught it two times now out of dozens of slides... if that is what it is. being an amatuer and that being a very unstudied thing, I can only draw those connections now that I have the stool test results indicating the overgrowth of saprophytic fungii.
I can share my experience with mycoplasma.. if your numbers were high, Id guess that you should be able to see them. My mycoplasma igg abs number is 680, positive is anything over 320. I have absolutely no problem seeing it easily and quickly.
Now that I know to look for lyme, Im catching it on every slide.
I would maybe be able to see babesia acute infection in live blood, but I dont know that I could in an unstained slide that was no longer alive.
Hope that answers some of your questions.
Good luck at your doctors appt tomorrow. Have you thought about taking Cryptolepsis for the babesia?
