Biaxin/Clarithromycin VS DOXY

I asked my doc which is better 'saying' someone had bart, babs, and lyme. He has yet to diagnose me with coinfections but I'm being patient and I believe he knows what he is doing.

He said Biaxin. Particularly when you start adding other things in but that it is better. He said it is way better for lyme too.

Any ideas on this?

Your doc may be right. This doesn't fully answer your question but gives you an idea about the effectiveness of Doxy.

I was on Biaxin along with other abx at the same time for 2+ years, and I feel Biaxin was one of the BEST abx that I was on :)

Biaxin worked better for me as well.  Doxy gave me pressure headaches and didn't seem as effective.  I have received the best results overall with Biaxin.
