GH, being that we were at a much higher fitness level previously makes it very difficult to adjust to the level that we must proceed now. Your mind knows what you're capable of doing but your body is saying something different. I think we all could benefit from increased oxygen levels no matter what form of exercise or movement we can tolerate. I hope we all get back to our previous levels and beyond!
I've gotten use to it now. What happened to me I believe was in increase in CO2 concentration during exercise. Not your normal lack of breath, but a serious reaction that caused exercise to cease. I believe it was from the Ornithine Cycle and Nitrogen metabolism. Only once have I had an excessive putrescine production, but that is where the CO2 came from IMO. I think that is why a low or no meat diet benefits me, not much Nitrogen metabolism.
Dr S. told me that he greatly approves of non-catabolic exercise and orthotics. It looks like I'll start back at the gym a couple days a week.
