I think if you treat without symptoms you stand the risk of driving things into antibiotic resistant forms.
The best things you can do are detox and support your immune system.
Let sleeping things lie, but you know what lurks so you can treat it. Id treat it with herbs and diet every year.. a cleanse of sorts..Id do biofilm breaking if my kids were older and developed immune systems. I worry about
congenital lyme in my own children after finding out both my huband and I are IgM positive.. but wont get them tested , they have no symptoms and I dont intend to treat them without symptoms. I dont think Lyme is something we can just go in and destroy. I think it is much more nuanced and that is why people are on multiyear abx therapy, sometimes with very poor results.
Another thing to do would be to look at your cd-57 numbers and treat based on low numbers.
