I am also being evaluated for cancer because I have a lesion on my spine.
Hi, I can't help you with the rest unfortunately. I only know of Igenex and the new lab Advanced Lab for lyme. I don't know enough to explain why it's said to be good, the new one.
I found info on lyme causing spine lesions from Columbia University Medical Center (Research Center) site.
For those of us that believe lyme is in fact MS they seem to compare the 2 saying they "both" cause brain and spine lesions so test for lyme if a person is told they have MS and that is causing the lesions.
In your case, you were told possible cancer is causing the lesions.
I hope this helps you try to more clearly dissect it all.

Excerpt for you from the link:
MS and Lyme Disease may cause brain and spinal MRI hyperintense lesions.
**There's a lot of search info online stating IF they are caused by lyme, they get smaller and disappear with treatment.
