Desperate mama,
I am so sorry to hear of the terrible prolonged ordeal that you are going through! I am happy that you have found us though! We have a lot of members who have gone through the same experience that you have, but are getting better now, or is even very well now, such as my daughter. There is a lot of experience here to draw upon.
I would encourage you to read the thread entitled "New to Lyme....Start Here?" for some important information that is useful to know for anyone that has lyme and coinfections. Please pay particular attention to the section on detoxing. Pathogens excrete metabolic wastes that poison your body, and even more so when they they die. These toxins are a major source of miserable symptoms including neurological issues.
I would strongly encourage you to find a lyme-literate physician to help you to begin your healing journey. The members here have selected either the conventional ABX or alternative as their treatment of choice, and many have been helped. The important thing is to select a physician that believes that Lyme disease and coinfections are a serious illness to have, and that it may require long term treatment. Of course you want to select a physician that is experienced and has a good track record in making patients well. Probably 90-95% of the docs out there do not fit that descript
ion, as you are already discovering. My understanding is that WB lyme false-positive are rare.
We care about
your suffering, and want to help you. Can you tell us more about
yourself and your journey?

i went thru the same thing for 3 years, im finally making progress.
gotta find the right doctor. a LLMD is best but if you can afford it like i cant, i had to go thru a few docs and prove my lyme by showing them test after test... its complete crap and we are treated badly. i found a doc who doesnt know anything but does what i ask him to... so thats how i managed to get somewhere.
are you CDC positive? what are your western blot results? did you have a positive ELISA too?
dont give up, keep fighting!
