Hey Yogi, yes, they feed off of sugar so sugar PLUS anything that converts to sugar in us.
Sugar feeds not only yeast but the pathogens. Any sugar gets stored in our cells, the bugs take it from our cells and it gives them energy and they build biofilms with it.
Stevia believe it or not they feed from and make biofilm with it too. Here's the link.
Stevia doesn't feed yeast from what I read.

I suppose it's individual, some say they can take it and healed. More of the healed people I talked to couldn't or didn't do sugar or carbs like me. I've met a couple that had a small amount here and there of agave or honey thought that feeds both too.
Organic or not, sugar is sugar.
I can't have sugar or carbs or dairy, the latter turning to sugar. Too much yeast plus I don't feed the bugs.
Fruit again, like mango, melon, pineapple etc, has high high sugar. Grapes, especially red high sugar. All the good stuff is high. Bananas, high in sugar. So googling you can see which has lower sugar. Lot's of lists.
Many with Candida in mouth, throat and bowels bad like me and mouth can't eat anything high in sugar or any that is carb which turns into it.
I had mouth yeast then bowel yeast, when I first started getting sick which was a long long time before abx too.
