Hello, regarding Magnesium from earlier in this thread -
BLACK TEA is a pretty good source - I don't know the amount numbers but I do know -
Magnesium is an antispasmodic - relieving spasms like muscle cramps. Doan's Back Pills use Magnesium for back pain.
Calcium helps us absorb the Mag. A warm cup of tea with milk really helps with mentrual cramps (I call it Linda's cure after the nurse friend who taught me about it) (Bless her soul many times over.)
This may help with the leg trouble, I don't know. There is the nice benefit of having been field tested by billions of people over centuries and having the mild side effects known from caffeine.
I helped with a dog once who was having seizures after nursing her puppies, due to a severe shortage of Calcium.
I also mentioned in a thread about Manganese and Epilepsy/seizures that
HEMP SEED is very high in Manganese (shortages are linked to seizures) but also in Magnesium! It's a small serving size for a big dose - 3 tablespoons gives 45% RDA!!!!! They're pretty tasty too.
Sweet or savory it mixes well with many foods. I put it in quesadillas or on Nuttella on toast.
Maybe some of this will help fight off the greedy little nutrient sucking b@$+@^&$.
