Traveler, thank you for your response about vomiting! It's so true that I cannot keep throwing up! That's exactly what my inner voice keeps saying. Thankfully, my doctor confirmed that I am able to take the mino with food, and they are prescribing me zofran, which I haven't researched thoroughly but may be a good tool in my toolkit.
The doctor's office also called me saying that my sodium is low - 132 with a normal range of 135-146, and given the need to support detoxing (i.e., more salt loss), they want me to take a sodium supplement. Taking more pills is not attractive, but I'm considering it given its role in detoxing and in supporting my already-low blood pressure...have always been such a purist that all these pills are beyond obnoxious!
Sapphire4, I'm so happy that those specific probiotics have been working. That is great news. :)
Also, the information about black, hairy tongue is very helpful! That's definitely what it is. Thankfully, it's mostly gone now, and I'm just vigorously brushing my tongue each time I brush my teeth.
Haven't taken abx since Friday p.m., as this is the beginning of a week off from them as part of the pulsing treatment. Have had a slightly elevated fever, but yesterday I had a really good day; felt like my spunky self, felt more creative too.
Today has been a bad day, but at least I was off work, so I was able to take it easy and be just active enough to try to keep my blood circulating and my mood a bit better. For me, the ear pressure/congestion feeling is really bad. The LLMD's nurse said that it sounds like a herx, and recommended I try lymphatic drainage massage, so that is this evening's project. Who said lyme deprives you of hobbies? It just picks them for you...LOL
