I need prayer...I lost a friend

Hi everyone, I hope all is well. I just learned that a dear friend and my sorority sister was gunned down over the weekend. Her ex-husband shot and killed her and her boyfriend and then he went home and killed himself. Thankfully he didn't harm the children. I'm angry, hurt, sad and broken to pieces. When I get this upset my internal tremors kick in, spasms and some twitches but I had to cry...I couldn't hold it in. I hate being sick because I can't fly to her funeral :-(

Please pray for her spirit, for her family and beautiful children. Hearing this news put a lot of things into perspective. I might be ill with this wicked disease but I'm alive and I have even more determination to heal soon and have no symptoms. That's how she lived life...to the fullest and I will do so soon too. Even more so after losing her, another friend back in January (suicide) and a friend in December (stroke). All were young (30's and early 40's). 

Sad thing is I would have seen her next week because her and a few others are coming to the DC area. I haven't seen her since I moved from Dallas, TX. I have the link from the news below.

I am so sorry for your loss,you and your friend are in my thoughts at this very sad time.

I have lost dear friends,my parents, my husband and every time a piece of my heart died with them.

However,they all live on in my thoughts and when I'm faced with difficulties or I'm afraid,I talk to them,it always helps.

Be strong in these dark days and fight the fight ,both for yourself and your loved ones,whether they be departed or still with you.

My prayers and thoughts are sent to you from over the ocean.

Thank you Diana :) I needed that. It's like my symptoms don't matter today even though they are bothering me because I'm still alive fighting the Lyme fight and my friend is dead due to senselessness, the other friend in January killed himself and the other was a stroke. I just don't know why anyone would do what her ex-husband did. I will never understand.

I will talk to her and pray to her and let her know that she will always be in my thoughts.

I am so very, very sorry Wryter. It is so difficult to lose someone you love and for her to die in such a senseless way makes it even harder. Toby's sister was murdered when she was only 17 years old. It is difficult for him to talk about it, but time does help in the healing process. I hope the good memories bring you some peace and comfort. I will pray for you and her family.

This is such a sad state of events. The shooter had to be in such deep, deep despair. It is often said that depression can turn inward and become anger. I am truly sorry for the loss you and their friends and family are feeling right now. So senseless. Remember that a loved one is not gone until they are forgotten.

Thank you Cat and Patty. I've been crying off and on all day. It sounded like anger and jealousy. Her kids have no parents but they have quite a few people that have stories to share.

May she rest in eternal peace.

This is such sad and terrible news...I will keep you in warm thoughts and prayers.

Please remember to take care of yourself and not hold your feelings in too much. The stress is not good for you... Although un avoidable. Maybe you can do something to cherish her memory to take your mind off of the shock and tradgedy. Even a poem or picture page. And remember, she's in your heart always.

Blessings to everyone. Thank you so much! I'm going to write a poem and watermark her picture in the background and send it to her parents and kids :-) a few of my friends will be here next weekend and I'm determined to see them as they knew her as well.

Hello Wryter,

I watched and read the story. It is incredibly tragic. My heart goes out to Jenea and all affected by this horrible event. I pray for the healing of all involved and I ask for her children to be watched over as they make their journey through this world without their mom.

Also, a special request. Please don't hold back your tears today. This is stressful and you need to express the sadness that this has brought into your file. Cry all you can to let the healing begin.

Thank you Thrive and Well Beautiful! I've cried and know I will cry more. Tears are healing. When I write the poem I will share it on here if all of you wouldn't mind.

Wryter, I am so sorry for the losses - so. Much to deal with at once . I agree with the advice of our "Lyme family". I had two deaths in i1 week -a five year old girl on Monday and then a very close friend one a Friday. 38 yrs old due to an autoimmune disease . This was about the first year I got Lyme (I'm now on year six) I got so sick from the stress that it really set me back on my healing program. I too had other losses similar to yours (a double murder and suicide due to domestic violence and sudden unexpected death from a young friend.what has helped me is to compertmentalize things until I am better able to deal with them. Also I don't go to the funerals but call and send a card/ flowers etc. If these friends were like mine , I'm sure they would want you to do what you are able to handle physically, emotionally etc. Perhaps a bit unorthodox but it does work for me. Remember celebrate the good memories and life in general. Than is how I want to be remembered living life to the fullest and when it's time, I hope to have less regrets . prayers to you my friend and strength and Gods peace in the coming weeks. I'll look for the poem!

Thank you so much. I pray everyday for Jenea and her family. I'm so sorry about your losses as well. My goodness, we all go through so much on top of this nasty disease. Wishing you healing Waiting in FL and that a breakthrough is on the way. Blessings.
