Anyone who knows me and my humor, know I'll do anything for a laugh, even if I'm the only one laughing.

I had a doctors appointment last week, and before I went in, I decided to just say I felt good to every question.

he says I look great, even though I've had no real improvements.

At my wiegh in (182lbs) I always wiegh the same, but its painfully obvious the I've lost a lot of muscle and gained a lot of belly.

As I sat and fake smiled the whole time, he told me how well the treatments were working (I'm only taking ambien from him, wich is a whole other evil in its self)

Point is I've payed a lot of money over the years to hear that diagnosis, if I only knew that in the beggining!!!!

Tape a smile on today and listen how many your looking betters you hear!

Gotta have fun with some thing.

First thought when I saw the title of your thread 'AH! there he is, something funny!! it's been a while' smilewinkgrin

After hearing enough 'Oh, you look great!', 'you look MUCH better than the last time I saw you' (this is an easy one for the other subject: they don't need to ask if treatment is going well, they decide themselves it is working great),  'still, you're not at all looking sick', blablabla... I'm just standing there 'Oh, thank you sooo MUCH' - lol - I think it's better than expressing what I really think about what they are saying... devil

Saying someone looks great is such an easy and lazy comment...

Haha. Thanks for the laugh, neede that!

I've taken to telling everyone i'm doing good when people happen to rarely see me. It's just so much easier than going into it.

When I do see a regular dr they try to drill me about who I'm seeing for LD treatment and I always say i'm doing good. Maybe i'm paranoid but their digging makes me suspicious. Got to protect the one dr. Who knows i'm not nuts :)
