Help! Canadian with Igenex results...

I just got my results back from igenex yesterday and don't know what to do next. I was diagnosed with ms and my neurologist tried forcing me into taking copaxone. (I did not!) he would not test me for lyme so I had my naturopathic doctor sign for my results. Here they are...

Igm results
23-25 +
31 +++
41 +
83-93 IND

Igenex positive
CDC positive

Igg results
39 +
41 +
58 +

Igenex positive
CDC negative

Would you folks consider this positive for lyme if just the igm is CDC positive? Could this be a false postive? Anyone know of any llmd close to New Brunswick Canada/Maine USA? Go's and neuros here don't believe in lyme so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!

CDC positive on the IgM is plenty enough to be sure you have Lyme. Band 39 on either the IgM or IgG is very significant so that band alone is very indicative of Lyme. It's rare to be CDC positive but the truth is it makes no difference whether you're CDC positive or negative to know you have it. Take my IgM results for example:
31++
34 +
41++
58+
83-93+
39 IND

I'm highly positive yet CDC negative so it's really the individual bands that matter and the CDC does a poor job at determining what constitutes a positive. I'm sure one of the mods will help you find an LLMD in your area so you can get the proper treatment.

Wow! Thanks so much for the quick response, I appreciate it :) i cant believe you are not CDC positive with those results. Are you getting treatment? Hopefully someone can help me find a llmd and get treatment ASAP!
