Hi Tristar,
There are herbal protocols that many people have great success with, so you don't have to use abx (antibiotics) in order to heal. I'm one that couldn't use abx, yet I healed.
The problem with the stevia study is that it was done in vitro (in a test tube) rather than in vivo (in the body). Lyme often reacts very differently in vitro and in vivo. While you may be getting some relief, please do not rely solely on stevia to treat your infection(s). I have used stevia for many years, and it never was enough to treat my infections, or I wouldn't have needed to use the herbal protocols as well.
Here is the link to the scientific article about
using stevia, and you will see that it wasn't just taking stevia:
"Stevioside (Sigma) was prepared in 0.001% DMSO and further diluted in 1× phosphate buffered saline (PBS, 0.1 M, pH 7.4 from Sigma). The antibiotics doxycycline, cefoperazone, and daptomycin (Sigma) at a concentration of 10 μg/ml were prepared in PBS. "
