My gait (equilibrium) has been off for a few days and lo and behold we won't just have your average full moon out...but a blue moon!

I do love to star gaze...but not while I have Lyme! It throws off my gait. Sigh.

Waiting ever so patiently when I will have my equillibrium totally back! I don't think I want to take a cruise after I'm symptom free!

I would agree that a cruise wouldn't be the best idea until that is resolved!! LOL! You'd spend your time in the sick bay!!! LOL!

Yep, the full moon is back once again - time for symptoms to increase, new symptoms to arise, and a general ickiness for many! So let's all take things a bit easier, watch our moods carefully and hang tight for the next few days!!!

That explains a lot! I finally broke down and went to ER after two days of severe burning abdominal pain and no sleep. Of course they didnt help me...shouldve known. I was worried I might have an ulcer. So have been dinking aloe and it is finally subsiding. My burning spine, migraine and fatigue has been amplified 100 fold.

Blasted full moons! Too bad not enough research has been done on how the moon affects the critters. I wonder sometimes if they come out of hiding and would be easier to kill? Or is the moon/gravity killing them and therefore causing sx's to increase? Very interesting indeed.

Well, it has an effect on all types of chronic conditions, so I wouldn't go so far as to say that it has an effect on the critters that we have - although until research is done on this, we really don't know.

My doc operates on the theory that the full moon has the same affect on all body fluids - even inflammation - as it does on the tides of the ocean. I don't know that she's right, but it's one theory. And at least she understands!!! smilewinkgrin

That is really weird, I went to the E.R. Sunday night and I never go. I never really consider the effect of it.

Traveler, that makes a lot of sense seeing as our bodies are majority fluid. The moon sure is powerful!

Acharms, I hear you. I avoid the ER and local docs at all costs too. My anxiety must've been through the roof to lapse in judgement. They just wanted me to take proton pump inhibitor. No thanks, I'll stick to my juice with no side effects !

Yep...Babesia came out in full blast for a bit. It was scary but I remained calm. The air hunger, gait was really off, trembling and I started sweating bullets and then after an hour...poof! It went away.

It's really tough when your symptoms feel out of control and it can really scare the beejeebers out of me!!! But sometimes going to the E-room can really calm your nerves if you are concerned about a heart attack or something equally serious.

One thing to always be on the watch for - don't allow the hospital give you any steroids for any reason! Be watchful and make sure they tell you all about any meds they are trying to give you. Remember - they really don't know a thing when it comes to Lyme and other tick-borne infections!

Otherwise, hang on!! It can be a ride, but it ends soon.

It is interesting how the moon affects so many things. I know more babies are born during a full moon and hospitals are busier during it. One of our cats usually gets restless during it.
